Eligibility Period
Eligibility begins in the fall semester immediately following high school graduation and continues through the summer semester of the student鈥檚 second academic year.
Last-Dollar Provision
污榴莲视频 Promise is a last-dollar scholarship. All federal and state grants, institutional scholarships, and outside funding must be applied first. 污榴莲视频 Promise funds are applied to any remaining eligible charges.
Additional Information
Books and course-specific fees are not covered.
Out-of-state students may receive tuition coverage up to the in-state rate. However, out-of-state students are not eligible for 污榴莲视频 Promise during any semester in which other financial aid fully covers the in-state tuition rate.
Requirements
Eligibility
- Be a resident of Moore or Hoke County.
- Be a private, public, or registered home-school equivalent high school graduate planning to attend 污榴莲视频 the fall semester immediately following high school graduation.
- Successfully complete at least four dual-enrollment courses through 污榴莲视频's Career and College Promise program.
- Be meeting Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress standards (must maintain a cumulative 2.0 grade point average, must complete 67 percent of all the credit hours attempted).
Enrollment
- Apply to 污榴莲视频 as a degree-seeking student and meet with a College Navigator.
- Students who completed a 污榴莲视频 application for the Career and College Promise Program are required to re-apply as a college student.
- Submit your high school or high school equivalency transcript.
- Apply for the 污榴莲视频 Promise by completing the online 污榴莲视频 scholarship application.
- Complete the using 2024 tax information.
- Enroll in at least one course during the Fall 2026 semester (enrolling during the Fall 2026 semester 鈥渓ocks in鈥� your eligibility for the next two years.)
Deadlines
Fall 2026 Priority Deadline: July 27, 2026. The following requirements must be met by the deadline, to ensure your eligibility.
- A new 污榴莲视频 admissions application must be completed, submitted, and on record with the Student Onboarding office.
- Official high school transcript showing your graduation date must be submitted and on record with the 污榴莲视频 Registrar's office.
- Your 污榴莲视频 scholarship application must be completed, submitted, and on record with the 污榴莲视频 Scholarship Office.

Your 2026-27 FAFSA and all additional required financial aid paperwork must be completed, submitted, and on record with the 污榴莲视频 Financial Aid Office.
Don't wait until the week of the deadline to submit your FAFSA to 污榴莲视频, you will not meet the deadline.
Once enrolled, students must continuously meet the financial aid Satisfactory Academic Progress standards outlined by the state and federal government (maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA and complete at least 67% of all courses attempted at 污榴莲视频 Community College.)
If you drop, are withdrawn from, or fail all your courses during a semester in which you receive 污榴莲视频 Promise funding, you may be required to repay all or a portion of your 污榴莲视频 Promise scholarship.
